Hi guys, I’ve just launched my own website called ‘Ask Dr Amalina’. I will be posting general health information and blog about current health issues. I’ve been sharing medical knowledge and facts based on research evidence on social media over the last few years and I think it is time for me to take it to the next level. I’m very excited with this new project and I hope that you will learn something new! Enjoy! P/s: Please note that this is not a platform to do personal medical consultation about yourself or your family members. This is merely a platform to share general health information to the public. Please see your local doctor for any health concerns. Thank you. Link: DrAmalina.com

Nama Dr. Amalina seringkali menjadi buah mulut.

  3. Penjarakkan sosial. Gunakan jarak 1 meter dari orang lain. Elakkan bersalaman. Buat rakyat Malaysia, ikut arahan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakkan.
  4. Elakkan PANIC BUYING atau pembelian panik.
  5. Jangan sebarkan maklumat tidak sahih!

How to stay safe during this COVID-19 Pandemic? -Good self-hygiene. Please wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds. Alternatively, you can use alcohol hand sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol if hand washing is not readily available. -Do a ‘dab’ and cough/sneeze! Cough and sneeze into your elbow to avoid spreading the droplets to other people. -Social distancing. Please stay 1 metre away from other people. Please avoid shaking your hands. To those in Malaysia, please follow advice from Ministry of Health about ‘Movement restriction’. -To those of you in the UK, please work from home if possible (unless if you are a healthcare staff or other workers who need to be in). Please avoid non-essential contact with others, please avoid theatres, pubs, and other social venues and avoid unnecessary travel for 30 days. If you have a new continuous cough or high temperature, please self-isolate for 14 days from when the symptoms started (or 7 days if you live alone). Anyone who lives with someone who has symptoms should stay at home for 14 days. Check www.nhs.uk. -Please avoid contacts with elderly people and vulnerable people who are immunosuppressed. -Please don’t touch your face. Please wear a mask if you are symptomatic. Please don’t stockpile masks as we currently have a global shortage of masks and healthcare professionals need them to treat positive patients. -Please be sensible and DO NOT do panic buying. Please be considerate of others. Please only buy food supplies that you need and not stockpiling them at home. -Please DO NOT spread misinformation. Please check the sources before sharing them to your friends and family. DO NOT SHARE IF YOU ARE NOT SURE. Please only read information from credible sources like WHO, Ministry of Health, CDC and trusted doctors. This is a global effort, we are not racing against each other, we are racing against the virus. Please help and support each other, BE KIND. Please pray for us, healthcare professionals all over the world for working around the clock to keep everyone safe. To all my dear colleagues no matter where you are, thank you for your service. You can read further information in my blog www.DrAmalina.com.
